My working trip to India

India is full of wisdom and excitement and a feeling of tremendous energy and wellbeing yet, it also has its polar opposite as well.

I was blessed to have had the opportunity to recently work in India and bring my skill set to a country that holds great respect in my heart. It was a privilege to work with my client and his family along with the teachers and pupils within the schools.  Great respect was bestowed upon my husband and I as we entered the school districts and those attending were full of hope, anticipation and excitement at what I was there to accomplish. It appeared both teachers and pupils anticipated a shift was going to take place but we all seemed unsure how this process was going to unfold.  However, the universe has a wonderful way of ensuring things happen at the right place and time.

There are no coincides in life, I do feel a certain part of it is mapped out for us and when we are in alignment then we get taken to the places that we need to go.  We need to get out of our comfort zones and just be with the energy and people.

In India time seems irrelevant, and while things happen it might not be when and where you desire it. Sometimes in life we try to control where and when we do things and while this can be a good thing, there are times when we need to let go and flow with the energy. My timetable when flying out the window within two days of my time in India and I let the universe and my client decide where I needed to be.

one of the wonderful schools in Bangalore

I am still processing my experience in India, having only arrived back to Ireland two weeks ago, and whilst we were only there for  2 weeks if felt like months because of our incredible experiences and the diverse energies present.

I don’t think anything can prepare you for a trip into an ancient land where people smile and greet you with openness and respect and do not harbour judgment. Nevertheless, it appears people communicate on the street differently by bellowing their car horns continuously at each other, saying, “I’m here, “hello” and this I did find stressful.

While I am still working on my Indian projects from my cabin in Ireland, I must say I do miss the presence of the people, their warm and welcoming nature and the land cloaked in great wisdom. However, I can’t say that I miss the fast moving traffic and noise as my husband and I nearly lost our life when trying to cross a really busy street within the first 12 hours of being in Bangalore.

I am so honoured and humbled to have been chosen to work on the various schools in India. The children, in years to come, will be fully supported in their learning as the energy’s and environment will be enhanced for their personal benefits.

I will do my utmost to honour my projects at hand and help my client, his family, their teachers and pupils to empower the changes we bring so that all can experience the oneness of love and acceptance of others in their unique journey through life.

I leave with one of my favourite quotes from Salman Rushdie

“ The only people who see the whole picture, are the ones who step out of the frame.”

Houses hold memories

Elephants just like houses, never forget.

Regarding memories in the house, I am not referring to nostalgia here.  All buildings just like batteries hold memory.  A building will be more energetically “charged” if the activities carried on within its walls, over time have resulted in a reservoir of energy that lingers.

Many people build new homes because they think the energies will be new and fresh and they do not realise that the energy patterns from the land can and will seep into the very fabric of our homes and workplaces.

When the energies are off in a home:

  • the children will normally feel it first especially when under the age of six, due to having so many receptors active.  Children will not be able to articulate it but they will just feel off and can act up especially at night time.
  • it will affect your sleep pattern,
  • constantly drained,
  • perhaps certain rooms are constantly colder that other room,
  • frequent sickness in the home affecting some family members.

With my Feng Shui work and Shamanic training I have also cleared homes from spirits and geopathic stress.   Please always respect the spirits of the land,  and if you have a ring fort close by then always get permission before you enter their space.

Some people use sage to clear a house, but please remember to wake up the spirit of the sage before you use it.  You can also use other house clearing sprays too for example:

  • you can boil ivy for 20 minutes with the intent of clearing any spirits / energies.
  • you can also put an ivy leaf in each corner of the house and this will help keep bad spirits away.
There is a rapid awakening going on today, a realisation that life is more than meets the eye.  Many people are becoming aware and respectful of energy and the invisible forces influencing our well-being.

On a collective level we are recognising unseen influences like relationship stress, emotional trauma, environmental pollution and the strain of dealing with health challenges.

Some of us are becoming more aware that love, prayer and intention have enormous healing affects for us, yet, we still have not fully understand how this is all possible.

The etheric energies around us are shaping us in either a positive or a negative way.

Food heals, positive thoughts heal, love heals, water heals, nature heals and conscious breathing heals.

Nurture your physical body - the temple of your Soul

Feng Shui is all about balance and whilst I mainly work on the energies in buildings, I also wanted to write a short blog on the importance of foods.

It’s so important to nurture your physical body, the temple of your soul. Cook with a new level of awareness.  Fresh well prepared food nourishes not only through its chemical constitution but also through its energy field.

  • Cook slowly and lovingly on low heat to protect the nutrients whilst also ensuring ease of digestion.
  • Spices have a healing quality so introduce when possible to your dishes.
  • Try not to consume too much processed foods, or meat substitutes that are so popular today.
  • Rebuild your body with foods from mother earth, not processed foods from the factory floor.

Eating too much processed foods like pizza and chips introduces too much heat into the body causing you to become anxious, sluggish and tired whilst also negatively affecting the chemicals in the brain.
  • Too much heat in the body, then introduce more cooling foods, like salads, cucumber & vegetables.

  • Beats for cleansing the gall bladder and liver.
  • Leafy greens to heal the lungs.
  • Root vegetables to ground in your energies and mineralise the brain. As Leafy greens such as kale, spinach, collards, and broccoli are rich in brain-healthy nutrients like vitamin K, lutein, folate, and beta carotene. Research suggests these plant-based foods may help slow cognitive decline

Introduce fresh herbs when possible to your dishes to help the body rebalance and de-toxify. A harmony of good foods to nurture your vitality. Conscious breeding and meditation to release blocks within the body.

2019 is the year of the Earth Pig - so what is on the horizon?

2019 is the year of the Earth Pig (Ji Hai)

We have a Yin Earth year in 2019 and we can expect mixed energies although there should be good news on the horizon with world events and hopefully a more calming influence in Middle Eastern countries with better relationships worldwide.
  • Finances can cause problems worldwide in 2019 and with a dominant earth energy with a yin polarity, we can expect issues with global finances and stock markets. Feng Shui earth cures are much needed in 2019 to generate new income.
  • We can also predict that this year the world enters an era of slower growth and economic recovery can be expected to emerge slowly from July onwards.

For my current clients, I have already provided Feng Shui Annual Updates for those that have contacted me. So if you have not got your updates yet then please drop me a line.

Annual Updates will provide you with significiant information in relation to whether or not it is a good year to remodel an area, deal with specific health issues, conceive, attract a specific partner or advance in your career. Annual Updates are unique in each home depending on the location energies already present!

Remember, it is the yearly energies which act as triggers for events to happen in a certain time frame. So be prepared as the year unfolds!  Energy Never Sleeps, So Use Its Power!
